Irrigation systems with coverage set system type latch have extruded aluminium pipes with male and female couplers smelted by gravity casting with aluminum alloy L-2520. The welding is done by the MIG process.
Its mounting is very easy, as it is only necessary to place the male inside the female and the steel latch over the male will be placed on the housing that the female coupler has, being then the pipe locked.
Watertightness is obtained thanks to a double lip joint located inside the female, being the proper hydraulic pressure the one that makes the closing possible, that is watertight from 1 atmosphere onwards.
